Please note our holiday hours. Wednesday, November 21st we are open 8-5, closed on Thanksgiving, open on Friday, November 23rd from 9-5. We are open Monday, December 24th from 9-1 and closed on Christmas, and open on Wednesday, December 26th from 9-5. Monday, December 31st we are open from 9-3, closed on New Years Day, and open on Wednesday, January 2nd from 9-5.
New Location, New Provider, and Walk-ins Welcome
Arapahoe Peak Health Center welcomes Walk-in’s at our new facility! As always, we are available for all acute illnesses and injuries such as fractures, concussions, lacerations, viral symptoms, infections, or any medical conditions requiring urgent evaluation and treatment. X-ray on site. Our new physician Zackary Kaufman, MD is currently accepting new patients and has available appointments. He is a great new asset to our heath care team! He enjoys seeing patients of all ages and complexity. Please call to schedule your Wellness visits, Sports Physicals, and your routine health screenings. We are thrilled to be in a beautiful new facility, centrally located in Evergreen, and serving all of our mountain community families!

X-Ray and Lab Services

We offer X-Ray and Laboratory Services on site. There are 7 Medical Providers in our practice, and both male and female providers are usually present. We often have same-day appointments available for our patients.

We Give Back

Our mission is to set aside an amount of money each month into a fund that will be used to send one of us per year for a month of volunteer work in an area that is greatly in need of medical services and compassionate care.

Why Choose Us?

  • Can you do X-Rays here?

    Yes. We have up-to date digital x-ray services available during office hours. We have certified Radiology Technicians on staff.
  • What insurance do you accept?

    We are contracted with most insurances including Medicare. Some of the individual plans within these vary and we may not be able to accept. We are happy to help you determine eligibility, or we encourage you to contact your insurance company directly to verify coverage.

    We are currently not able to accept Medicaid or Kaiser HMO plans.
  • What if I have an emergency after hours?

    If you call the office after hours, you will be directed to the on-call provider. We can then help you determine whether emergency services are recommended or if we can assist in a plan for scheduling a visit the next day if needed.

    We ask that this service is for acute matters and we will not address routine heath concerns or medication refills after hours.
  • Do you accept walk-ins?

    Yes. We rotate walk-ins between our regularly scheduled patients. Walk-ins are also screened by urgency of condition.

    We attempt to see everyone in a timely manner but cannot guarantee wait times. As a walk-in, you are not able to request a specific provider however we do our best to accommodate continuity of care or relevant specific concerns when possible.
  • Can I email my provider directly?

    Yes! With a patient portal account, you can contact our staff directly via email. Portal access codes can be given by our reception desk staff in person, or by calling 303-679-8500. This also allows other benefits and ability to access your information directly.
  • How do Rx refills work?

    We encourage you to contact your pharmacy directly for prescription refills. They can initiate the process electronically and more efficiently. You can also request refills via the patient portal. Often, when you are due for a refill, it may be time for you to schedule a visit, and that may be required prior to refilling medication.

    Please allow up to 3 business days from the time of request to accommodate refills.
